La parte bassa dell'edificio è rivestita con caratteristici muri in pietra separati da ampie vetrate, la parte alta con tavolato in legno naturale di larice dove di intersecano dei ballatoi completamente in legno. La copertura è realizzata in legno lamellare, con manto in lose in pietra di Luserna.
La struttura portante dell'edificio è realizzata interamente in legno di abete, con pannelli X-Lam da 12 a 18 cm per tutte le pareti ed i solai. Le isolazioni termiche sono realizzate in lana di roccia: 16 cm a parete, 24 cm in copertura. La presenza di alcuni locali riscaldati al piano interrato, con struttura in c.a., ha reso necessaria una progettazione di dettaglio particolarmente impegnativa: tutti i nodi costruttivi sono stati verificati con analisi FEM, facendo ricorso ad isolazioni sotto platea in XPS ed incamiciamenti delle strutture comunicanti con i locali freddi.
